PwC appoint Malcolm Lloyd as Global Deals leader.

PwC has appointed Malcolm Lloyd to lead its Deals practice globally.

A partner in PwC Spain, Malcolm is a member of PwC Spain’s Executive Board and has led the Spanish Deals practice since 2009, and PwC’s Europe, Middle East and Africa Deals practice since 2014.  

With over 25 years’ experience, Malcolm started his career originally in the UK and has a broad range of experience across European and international markets with both corporate and private equity clients.  He has worked across a broad range of industries over the course of his career, including leading complex cross-border deals in the Energy, Technology, Media, Entertainment, Consumer and Health sectors. 

In his new role, Malcolm leads a team of over 20,000 dedicated deals professionals in over 100 countries.  This team work across all aspects of deals, helping clients with acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, joint ventures & alliances, debt & capital raising and responding to crises. Recent investments have expanded the team’s deal analytics capabilities, using data and technology to drive greater insight and capture more value in the deal process.

As PwC’s EMEA Deals leader Malcolm has been focused on talent development.  He recently led the launch of EDGE, a new PwC Deals graduate development programme.  Aimed at graduates joining PwC’s Deals practice across EMEA, it is a structured three-year programme bringing together graduates across the region, offering international experience to recruits and focused on increasing the diversity of skills in PwC’s Deals team.
