PwC Named a Leader in Joint Ventures & Alliances Consulting by ALM Intelligence

ALM Intelligence recently named PwC as a top-ranking provider for breadth of services and best in class for enabling tools. A total of 27 providers were rated by ALM in the report.  PwC was ranked the outright leader in Breadth of Consulting Capabilities, continuing in the #1 spot from last year, and took the #3 rank in Depth of Consulting Capabilities.  
 
ALM lays out the provider landscape and their method for ranking as, “The leaders are at the top of the market in terms of their capabilities to create client impact through their depth of expertise and ability to deploy it across a range of engagement models. They are unique in their ability to independently execute a broad array of projects across the full spectrum of client contexts.”
 
 “PwC looks beyond the immediate deal process and takes a corporate finance-oriented strategic view of joint ventures, looking to clients’ broader growth goals,” said report author Tomek Jankowski. “In the process, it brings together all the key inter-disciplinary practice elements all the Big Four do with a strong post-deal focus that emphasizes long-term achievements and entity/relationship evolution.”
 
Jankowski continued to say, “PwC approaches joint ventures as an option or tool in a larger strategic puzzle; what does the client need, and what is the best way to for the client to achieve that goal?…The emphasis is on the front end, both strategy and due diligence, in ensuring projected outcomes. PwC continues to invest heavily in data and analytics solutions, utilizing both internal and external data sets for modeling deal outcomes.”
