PwC Named a Leader for Corporate Services Consulting

ALM Intelligence notes PwC for the firm’s digital Fit-For-Growth (DFFG) approach.

In the ALM Vanguard report: Corporate Services Consulting, the author, Liz Devito, outlines PwC’s unique framework for back office functions, “PwC’s approach to the competency is embodied in Digital Fit for Growth (DFFG), a framework and platform for improving business performance through a combination of cost optimization, digital transformation, and profitable growth. An integral component of DFFG is reorganizing for growth, which involves redesigning all aspects of corporate services operations – structure, process, tools, talent, technology, and culture – to more directly enable a level of business agility that stimulates and sustains growth through innovation.”

Discussing PwC’s placement as a Leader, Devito states, “With Digital Fit-For-Growth, PwC maintains its leadership position by helping clients transcend a support function mindset to focus on strategic priorities for improving cost structures across functional and organizational boundaries. The framework also provides a roadmap for integrating intelligent automation into roadmaps for designing and implementing end-to-end processes and digital operating models.”

Expanding on the capability, the report notes, “PwC takes an agile approach to DFFG consulting in a three-stage process sequenced as quick wins, restructuring, and value-add. The focus is on outcome-based sprints aligned to the future vision and roadmap, which are themselves developed in a rapid six- to ten-week opportunity assessment.”

Randy Browning, Global Advisory Markets Leader and the Global Consulting Competencies Leader, stated, “We are delighted to be recognized for Corporate Services Consulting and, in particular, our Digital Fit for Growth approach. We start by assessing a company’s strategy and determining what differentiating capabilities would fit this organization best. A Fit for Growth business transformation impacts the entire organization and for this reason, we taken an end-to-end view of the value chain to help our clients through the entire process of getting fit and ready to grow.”
