Improving performance with Business Analytics

PwC named as a Major Player by IDC MarketScape.

According to the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Business Analytics Consulting and Systems Integration (C&SI) Services Vendor Assessment, there are a few characteristics required for a Business Analytics C&SI services project to be successful at a worldwide level.  These are to achieve desired business outcomes and have clean, consolidated data which can be managed in a timely manner.

The report states that IDC rates PwC highly in terms of its functionality/offering road map and its financial/funding management strategy.

Commenting on achieving this positioning, Miles Everson, Global Advisory Chairman, said "Our teams provide functional and technical insights as well as high quality resource. This is the same for all of our clients, no matter what their project.  It’s great to be recognised for these skills in this IDC MarketScape.”

About IDC MarketScape
IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT (information and communications technology) suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilises a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. IDC MarketScape provides a clear framework in which the product and service offerings, capabilities and strategies, and current and future market success factors of IT and telecommunications vendors can be meaningfully compared. The framework also provides technology buyers with a 360-degree assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and prospective vendors.
