Business, Experience and Technology prove to be a winning combination

PwC’s BXT methodology is the cornerstone of their consulting approach. ALM notes this new way of working together in the ALM Vanguard: IT Operations Consulting in which PwC is named a leader.

The report gives an overview of PwC’s leadership rating “PwC provides a unique blend of strategy through execution skills, with an aim to provide a balanced approach to clients – emphasizing all aspects of end-to-end delivery, enabling a consistent level of depth of capabilities throughout the entire engagement. PwC distinguishes itself from many firms with its vast number of practitioners or practical strategists, who have backgrounds in industry and consulting experience… PwC itself is shifting from traditional advisory projects to product-based consulting in many cases. This is a “sprint approach” dictated by the rapid pace of change in today’s environment.”

Highlighting the firm’s unique BXT approached, the report states, “PwC’s BXT approach is the intersection of business, experience and technology, and addresses new ways of working together. PwC aligns technology investments with business priorities and educates clients on how technology can drive strategic advantage.”

Noted Best in Class for Needs Assessment, the report states, “With BXT, PwC works with clients to identify gaps and find opportunities in high-level strategies and solutions.  Using off-site sessions, PwC frames discussions, provides insights, and has the client executive team break up into groups to discuss the issues in an iterative process so that ultimately senior management has their fingerprints on the strategy. This is in addition to the initial assessments, benchmarking and activity analysis that PwC employs with clients to understand the current state and create a roadmap for a future state

The report goes on to note, “PwC distinguishes itself from many firms with its vast number of practitioners and practical strategists, who have backgrounds in industry and consulting. PwC brings its BXT approach, which involves the business change required to shift an organization’s operations, its experience with the human-technology interface necessary to create a useful experience, and the technology required to enable the new solution, to clients. PwC aligns technology investments with business priorities and educates clients on how technology can drive strategic advantage. Using BXT, PwC will work with clients to gain their buy-in to strategies and solutions. This may be done at off-site sessions where PwC frames discussions, provides insights, and then has the client team break up to discuss the issues in an iterative process, so that ultimately the executives have their fingerprints on the strategy.”

Randy Browning, Global Consulting Leader, said, “We are delighted to be recognized for our unique BXT approach. We bring together expertise from across the consulting spectrum to provide innovative solutions tailored to client challenges.”
