Per the Report, “PwC brings a sophisticated approach to customer insights on a leading platform.”
Collecting, parsing, and making sense of the ever-increasing amount of data to develop a complete view of the customer is the new battlefront for healthcare organizations. Forrester identified PwC as a leader among 11 different solutions providers that were evaluated, in The Forrester Wave™: Healthcare Analytics, Q4 2018.
The Forrester Wave™ evaluation highlights which vendors take cognitive analytics beyond a marketing tactic to help HCOs better understand their customers and better determine risk and ROI for new initiatives. In its research of the health analytics market, Forrester found that legacy analytics solutions have been left in the dust by vendors “that invested in prescriptive analytics.” According to the report, decision-makers looking for a healthcare analytics vendor should prioritize providers that offer support for a 360-degree customer view, cognitive capabilities, and unstructured data.
Per the Forrester Wave report, “PwC brings a sophisticated approach to customer insights on a leading platform. PwC aims to be a one-stop shop for healthcare analytics and professional services.” Describing PwC’s offerings, the report notes, “[PwC’s] services and analytics platforms, such as Bodylogical and Behavior Predictor, [focus] on accelerating HCOs’ ability to understand individual customers and drive improved outcomes.” Additionally Forrester cites feedback from PwC’s clients. “Customer references told us that they understand the firm’s vision… that the breadth of PwC’s offerings (that would otherwise need to be supported by multiple vendors) helps push their thinking to propel their analytics strategy forward.”
Kelly Barnes, US Health Industries and Global Health Industries Consulting Leader, PwC US, stated, “In the new health economy, analytic insights are critical to navigating success in a rapidly changing ecosystem. At PwC, we are leveraging data and analytics to facilitate collaboration across the industry to move beyond one-off interactions to data-driven insights, better patient experiences and improved outcomes.”
Michael Mentesana, Health Industries Analytics Leader, PwC, added, “We are very happy to be noted in this healthcare analytics evaluation. Across the industry, our clients are looking for new and more effective ways to deliver services that drive real outcomes. A well articulated and executed data and analytics strategy is core to this. These methods and tools can be utilized to both design and implement transformation to improve patient outcomes and reduce overall costs. Analytics solutions can drive improvements in productivity, clinical effectiveness, patient experience and outcomes all resulting in better healthcare for the patient.”
