Improving operational efficiency, quality and managing risk is at the front of clients minds

PwC named as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Business Consulting Services 2017 Vendor Assessment.

In the Asia/Pacific region, consulting providers are generally perceived as strong at meeting the project timeline, providing functional or technical insights and competence, leveraging local or global staff and resources appropriately, and transferring knowledge/skills to the client. They are also considered very capable when asked to help clients improve operational efficiency, comply with new or existing regulations, transform critical processes, and manage risk.  This is according to the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Business Consulting Services 2017 Vendor Assessment.

The report highlights that, “Asia/Pacific clients consider PwC to be the most capable firm at helping them to become more agile, increase productivity, transform processes, manage risk, and reduce costs. In addition, PwC is perceived to be the strongest firm in engagement practices such as providing high-quality service, delivering industry, functional, and technical insights and implementing innovations that produce results.”

The report also quotes a manufacturing client in Asia/Pacific "Quality is one thing PwC does not comprise on," while a commenter from government says, "PwC's capabilities-driven strategy provides us with the tools we need to cut costs and become more agile."

Commenting on achieving this positioning, Miles Everson, PwC’s Global Advisory Leader said: “We are delighted to learn the IDC MarketScape places PwC as a leader in the Asia/Pacific Business Consulting Services report.  Our aim is to help organisations in this region to work smarter and grow faster.  We work together with our clients to help them build effective organisations, and support them to design, manage and execute lasting beneficial change.”

He goes on to say “We use our global network of professionals, facilitating the use of cross-border, cross-competency, and cross-line of service teams that address our clients' issues and needs.  We can tap into resources and expertise as required from all relevant parts of our network.”
