Government customers now expect value-added insights, benchmarks, and guidance that go beyond traditional services

PwC named as Leader by IDC MarketScape.

Government customers now expect value-added insights, benchmarks, and guidance that go beyond traditional services and consider the holistic needs of recipients — needs that may involve cross-agency communication and collaboration.  This is according to the IDC MarketScape: U.S. Systems Integrators Serving the Federal Government Vendor Assessment.

The report highlights that ‘According to IDC analysis, PwC is a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: U.S. Systems Integrators Serving the Federal Government 2016 Vendor Assessment.’

Commenting on achieving this positioning, Scott McIntyre, PwC’s Public Sector Leader, said: “We are pleased to be so well rated in this IDC MarketScape.  We recognise the complexities our federal services clients are dealing with, and supported by our strong global network, we are well positioned to meet their needs.”

John Hunt, PwC’s Public Sector Solutions Leader, said “We agree with the IDC MarketScape that for public sector clients, finding a consulting partner with the skills required for successful digital transformation is challenging, which is why we are so pleased that we’ve been recognised as a Leader in this space.”

About IDC MarketScape
IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT (information and communications technology) suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilises a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. IDC MarketScape provides a clear framework in which the product and service offerings, capabilities and strategies, and current and future market success factors of IT and telecommunications vendors can be meaningfully compared. The framework also provides technology buyers with a 360-degree assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and prospective vendors.
