Achieving the desired business outcomes by using Oracle implementation services

PwC named as a Major Player by IDC MarketScape

According to the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Oracle Implementation Services 2016 Vendor Assessment, when buyers were asked what characteristics were required for an Oracle implementation services project to be successful at a worldwide level, the top 2 characteristics were "able to achieve desired business outcome" and "able to meet project deadlines."

The report highlights that “from strategy through execution, PwC brings together the business and technology know-how that allows it to help clients solve complex business problems.”

It goes on to say that “buyers rate PwC highly for handling changes in project scope, meeting the project timeline, and helping clients achieve desired business outcomes. IDC rates PwC highly in terms of its sales/distribution strategy and its customer service strategy.”

Commenting on achieving this positioning, Miles Everson, Global Advisory Chairman, said: “We are really pleased to be recognised in this IDC MarketScape. At PwC, we help our clients to make sure they can transform themselves and continue to be competitive, demonstrating how Oracle enabled change can help their business.”

About IDC MarketScape
IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT (information and communications technology) suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilises a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. IDC MarketScape provides a clear framework in which the product and service offerings, capabilities and strategies, and current and future market success factors of IT and telecommunications vendors can be meaningfully compared. The framework also provides technology buyers with a 360-degree assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and prospective vendors.
