Finding the truth behind the technology with eDiscovery – the global demand increases

PwC named a leader by IDC MarketScape for Worldwide eDiscovery Services 2017

According to the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide eDiscovery Services 2017 Vendor Assessment, the eDiscovery business is quickly becoming global in nature and this shift requires vendors to be able to provide global consistency, local support, excellent project management, strong security, and data privacy control at scale. PwC’s staffing and training approaches align with these market demands.

The report highlights, “PwC has a well-known and credible brand name. The size and reputation of the company provides some major advantages — particularly as demand grows in emerging markets where some boutique providers may be less known. The Forensics team has access to a large network of executives from existing clients that can be leveraged for future growth. In addition, the company has access to a large number of attorneys and regulators — providing PwC with direct access to experts and experienced professionals within their own organisation.”

Commenting on the achievement, Eric Matrejek, PwC’s Global eDiscovery Leader said: “It’s great to be recognised by IDC MarketScape as a Worldwide eDiscovery Services leader.  At PwC we help our clients around the world navigate the legal and business processes mandated by critical events – such as disputes, enforcement matters, cyber breaches, investigations, litigation and whistleblower allegations. Our capabilities mean we can staff projects locally which are supported by global team members who all follow an organisational-level methodology.  All of our eDiscovery services are consistent, no matter where our clients are based.”
